Did you know most discarded textiles end up burned or in a landfill? And discarded Styrofoam takes hundreds of years to degrade. Yech!
Here’s how you can help: Bring Styrofoam and textiles to St. Philip’s for our recycling drive!
What to bring:
Textiles: Clean but unusable clothes, shoes, purses, linens, curtains, underwear, socks, leather items, etc.
Styrofoam: Clean and dry food service containers and packaging materials.
Put your Styrofoam and textiles in the boxes in the church office from May 14 to June 2. You can even get in the habit of saving Styrofoam and textiles – we anticipate doing another recycling drive later this year.
