“Stewardship.” That word may feel like just a six-week campaign for next year’s pledges… but it’s so much more. 

Stewardship is the responsibility we hold to take care of all that’s entrusted to us – all year long. And it springs from our baptismal vows, when we’re asked, “Will you who witness these vows do all in your power to support these persons in their lives in Christ?”  And we all answer: “We will!”

Our 2023 fall stewardship theme embodies that vow: We will! We will support each other in our mutual life in Christ. Because stewardship is caring for each other.

Join us Sunday, October 22, for a “pledging 101” adult forum entitled Lean on Me – in the parish hall or on Zoom.

We’ll talk all about pledging, how to decide your pledge, and how your pledge ties into our baptismal vows and the greater mission of St. Philip’s. Bring your questions!
