You may have noticed fences going up around 300 E. Main Street. We are very excited to announce that construction is beginning! The County is building 110 affordable housing units around a parking deck with 762 spaces. The lot will be fenced off and no weekend parking will be available until the parking lot project is completed in August 2022.  Affordable housing begins construction in November 2021, and should be completed by February 2023. This is the result of years of work by our congregation and Durham CAN, and provides inspiration for our need to continue to devote time and effort to ensuring affordable housing for all Durham residents.
