There’s a lot to celebrate at St. Philip’s on November 15! Bishop Jennifer Brooke-Davidson will be with us, we’ll celebrate confirmations at the 11am service, and we’ll give thanks for the Rev. Gabe Lamazares as he concludes six years of ministry with us.

Bishop Jennifer’s Visit
We’re delighted to welcome the Rt. Rev. Jennifer Brooke-Davidson, assistant bishop of the Diocese of North Carolina, back to St. Philip’s!
Bishop Jennifer will join us for worship at 9am and 11am. At the 11am service, she’ll offer confirmations, receptions, and reaffirmations. Confirmation is a special occasion when members of our community make a mature, public affirmation of their faith, with the bishop’s prayers and blessing.
Come celebrate with those taking this important step in their journey of faith, and help us give Bishop Jennifer a warm St. Philip’s welcome!
Celebrating Gabe’s Ministry

After six years at St. Philip’s, Gabe is preparing for his next adventure in Spain. November 15 will be his last Sunday with us. Let’s send him off with love and good wishes!
Join us for receptions after the 9am and 11am services as we give thanks for Gabe’s ministry and all he’s brought to our parish.

9 AM – Intergenerational Holy Eucharist with Bishop Jennifer

This service uses inclusive language and is intentionally planned for all ages.
10 AM – Formation Hour & Reception for Gabe

Children’s Formation – Parish House, 2nd floor
Youth Formation – Parish House, lower level
11 AM – Holy Eucharist with Choir and Confirmations
