Styrofoam and Textile Recycling Drive
Wednesday, June 17 โ Sunday, July 5
Parish House
Did you know discarded Styrofoam takes hundreds of years to degrade? You can help keep it out of the landfill by bringing Styrofoam containers and packing materials to St. Philipโs for our summer Styrofoam recycling drive.
What to bring:

Do bring: Clean and dry food containers, cups, egg cartons, packing materials, Styrofoam coolers, etc.
Things we can’t take: No Styrofoam peanuts or dirty items. Styrofoam only, please! If it looks like Styrofoam but is a little squishy, it’s not Styrofoam!
Prep your Styrofoam: Please remove tape/labels from coolers. Remove bar codes from egg cartons. Cut Styrofoam clamshells at the hinges, then nest them (and cups) in a small box or paper bag.
Got large Styrofoam? Call Duncan: If you have large pieces of Styrofoam or a lot of Styrofoam coolers, PLEASE contact Duncan Krause (706-255-3138) to coordinate a drop-off.
Where to bring it:
Put your Styrofoam in theย boxesย in the breezeway vestibule from June 17 to July 5. You can even get in the habit of saving Styrofoam โ we’ll hold more recycling drives in the future.
Want to help out?
We could use a few volunteers to help haul away materials! If you can help, call or text Duncan Krause at 706-255-3138.
