Happy Pride Month!

June 2026 โ June is Pride Month, when we celebrate the LGBTQIA+ community and thank God for the diversity of people among us!
As a community of worship, love, and action, St. Philip’s is a church for all people. We believe God loves us all โ no exceptions. Whoever you are, whoever you love, and however you show up in the world, you are welcome here.
You are perfectly and marvelously made, just as you are.

As Episcopalians, we believe in a loving, liberating, and life-giving God: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. We believe in following the teachings of Jesus Christ, whose life, death, and resurrection saved the world.
The Episcopal Church has a legacy of inclusion, aspiring to tell and exemplify Godโs love for every human being. Ordination and the offices of bishop, priest, and deacon are open to all without discrimination. Laypeople and clergy cooperate as leaders at all levels of our church. We believe leadership is a gift from God and can be expressed by all people in our church, regardless of gender, sexual orientation, or gender identity or expression.
You are perfectly and marvelously made, just as you are!

Join the Rev. Gabe Lamazares for a transformative four-part series exploring Marvelously Made,ย a Bible study focusing on how queer stories and relationships have always been part of the great story of God and humanity.
Created by the Episcopal Diocese of North Carolina’s Swindell Committee, this beautifully illustrated guide looks beyond traditional binaries and “straightness.” Together we’ll reexamine familiar scriptures through a lens celebrating a rich variety of gender and sexual identities. Through conversation and reflection, weโll explore themes of identity, belonging, creativity, and Godโs delight in the rich diversity of creation. All are welcome.ย
Copies of Marvelously Made available at church.ย
