Parish Hall worship starts June 7
Summer 2026
This summer: Paint, Plaster, & Planning
This summer, St. Philipโs will begin Phase 2 of our church renovations โ repairing plaster, painting, and planning for future work. The work will take 8โ10 weeks, and all worship will meet in the parish hall during that time. Renovation plan detailsย
Our last Sunday in the church will be May 31.
During the renovations, all worship will move into the parish hall for 8โ10 weeks. Weโll celebrate Trinity Sunday (May 31) in style, savoring the music of our organ.
- Starting June 7, all worship services will be in the parish hall. To keep things simple, all three Sunday services will have the same chair set-up.
- Summer worship schedule remains the same: Sundays at 8am, 9am, and 11am, and Wednesdays at 5:30pm.
- Summer social hour: 10am in the garden close.ย Our main social hour will shift to 10โ11am, between the 9am and 11am services. Come mingle! (We’ll still offer lemonade and coffee after the 11am service.)
- Weโre planning to be back in the church in August.

Help prep the church!
On June 6, 9amโ12pm, weโll pack up and move out of the church. This will be very similar to the preparations we did for the roof work in 2023.ย
We need YOU! Can you help pack boxes of prayer books and hymnals? Move items on a dolly? Sign up below!

For the past year and a half, St. Philip’s Sacred Spaces Committee has been working on a plan to improve our church’s inside space: painting, fixing the plaster, improving accessibility and acoustics, and much more.
At the March 15, 2026, Sunday Forum, the committee unveiled their recommended renovations plan.
