Intergenerational fellowship and service opportunities create new friendships and build community.

Recently my son said, “when are we going to have another church square dance?” The fact that a sometimes-reluctant kid remembers that event two years after the fact says a lot to me. It is almost a silly little thing in the context of all the big, important, hard work the church does, but the concept from which it came, “fun is faithful,” is a good reminder that God’s work can be joyful.
