Did you know most discarded textiles end up burned or in a landfill? And discarded Styrofoam takes hundreds of years to degrade. Yech!
Here’s how you can help: Bring Styrofoam and textiles to St. Philip’s for our recycling drive!
What to bring:
Textiles: Clean but unusable clothes, shoes, purses, linens, curtains, underwear, socks, leather items, etc.
Got large Styrofoam? Call Duncan (706-255-3138) to arrange a drop-off.
Styrofoam: Clean and dry food service containers and packaging materials.
Got lots of textiles? Contact Leslie (919-638-9417).
Put your Styrofoam and textiles in the boxes in the breezeway vestibule from September 25 to October 13. You can even get in the habit of saving Styrofoam and textiles – we anticipate doing more recycling drives in the future.
