Dear Friends,
In the last 12 hours, we have learned new information that will affect our Christmas worship. A member of the choir and a member of the staff have tested positive for Covid-19. Due to the nature of their roles, many people have been exposed and we are working to get folks tested as soon as possible. Our wish is for all to be safe and healthy this Christmas.
Considering this news, we have made the incredibly difficult decision to cancel the 4 PM pageant and eucharist. We know this is disappointing news to many of you.
We will still be able to offer our 10 PM service this evening, as well as our 10 AM service on Christmas Day. We ask that you prayerfully consider the right course of action for you and your loved ones to stay as safe as possible. Both services will be live streamed, and we are working on music options that do not involve our choir. Information about Lessons and Carols offered on December 26 will be shared in the coming days.
We understand that these evolving changes are upsetting; we are not happy about this either. However, regardless of any Covid-19 variant, the light of Christ will still shine through the darkness.
The people who walked in darkness have seen a great light; those who lived in a land of deep darkness – on them light has shined. Isaiah 9:2
