United Church of Chapel Hill offers Taizé evening prayer on the third Friday of each month. This ecumenical service of sung prayer offers a space for communal prayer and meditation in the tradition of the ecumenical monastic community of Taizé, France. The worship is constructed from prayer, silence and song. Music from Taizé is simple and meditative, so it can serve as a vehicle for prayer.
