First Sunday back in the church August 23
August 2026
Summer renovations are in the home stretch
Get ready to see our newly plastered-and-painted church interior! Painting is nearly finished, and everything remains on track for us to return to worshiping in the church at 8am and 11am on Sunday, August 23. Thanks be to God!
Over the next couple of weeks, a small team will coordinate moving the furnishings and worship items back into place as we get ready to return. First we’ll move the pews back in, then the sacristy items, then everything else.
Thank you for your patience and flexibility this summer. We can’t wait to worship together in our spiffied-up church! ย
Renovations plan

For the past year and a half, St. Philip’s Sacred Spaces Committee has been working on a plan to improve our church’s inside space: painting, fixing the plaster, improving accessibility and acoustics, and much more. This summer we’ve been working on Phase 2: plaster, paint, and planning for the future.
At the March 15, 2026, Sunday Forum, the committee unveiled their recommended renovations plan.
