On Sunday, December 28, we’ll have ONE worship service at 10am – Christmas Lessons and Carols with Eucharist in the church. Join us for this beautiful service combining hymns and choir anthems!
The tradition of Christmas Lessons and Carols dates from 1880, when it was first sung at Truro Cathedral on Christmas Eve – the same year St. Philip’s was organized. The service includes nine lessons and nine carols related to the Christmas story, with the carols following each lesson illustrating what was read.
