Clothing and Textiles Drive

Breezeway vestibule
This May, the Creation Care and UMD Collaborative committees are teaming up to expand our textiles collection. In addition to recycling worn-out clothes and textiles, we’ll also collect clean, gently used clothing to donate to Urban Ministries of Durham.
You can help by bringing usable clothing and unusable textiles to St. Philip’s breezeway vestibule.
What to bring:
Usable clothing in good condition
- Clothes in good condition will be shared with our neighbors in need at UMD
- UMD especially needs summer clothing
- Please wash clothing before donating
Unusable textiles
- Stained, torn, or no longer wearable items will be recycled
- Unusable clothes, shoes, purses, linens, curtains, underwear, socks, leather items, etc.
- Please no dirty items (stains that won’t come out are okay)
- Please no carpets or fabric scraps
