This season, St. Philip’s Family Ministries is embracing a relaxed and restorative summer. Here’s what’s happening!
Summer Social Hours

Sundays through August 31
10 a.m. • Garden Close
12:30 p.m. • Parish Hall
This summer, in addition to our regular post-11 a.m. social hour, join in a fun-filled social hour in the garden close after the 9 a.m. service. All are welcome! (We’ll also continue our 12:30 p.m. social hour in the parish hall.)
SIGN UP TO BRING SNACKS – If you enjoy the 10 a.m. social hour, consider bringing snacks one Sunday. Many hands make light work! Questions? Contact Emily Sparks.
Summer Wednesday nights
June 11 – September 3

Wednesday nights are scaled-back and relaxed this summer – here’s what’s happening:
- 5:30 p.m. – Eucharist in the church
- 6 p.m. – Bring-your-own dinner in the parish hall
- 6:30 p.m. – Engage! Adult Formation in the library
- Insert parishioner-led activity here*
*What fun Wednesday activity can you lead this summer? Game night? Movie night? Water toys in the garden close? If you’d like to lead a Wednesday evening activity, reach out to Parish Administrator Amanda Robinson (office@stphilipsdurham.org) at least one week before the proposed date.
Saturday Camp at The Trees

June 22, July 26, August 9 • 10am-2pm • The Trees
This summer, St. Philip’s is offering three fun-filled Saturdays of Camp at The Trees! Children will explore and celebrate God’s creation through hands-on activities, games, and outdoor adventures designed to spark wonder and joy. Camp is open to children age 4 (potty trained) through rising 6th graders.

Summer House Church

Enjoy family compline and dinner in a relaxed home environment. House church is a great way to deepen your family’s spiritual life and get to know other families in a deeper way.
