Spring Styrofoam and Textile Recycling Drive
April 23 – May 14, 2025
Did you know most discarded textiles end up burned or in a landfill? And discarded Styrofoam takes hundreds of years to degrade. Yech!
Here’s how you can help: Bring Styrofoam and textiles to St. Philip’s for our spring recycling drive!
What to bring:

Styrofoam: Clean and dry food containers, cups, egg cartons, packing materials, etc. Please cut Styrofoam clamshells at the hinges, then nest them in a small box or paper bag.
Got large Styrofoam? Call Duncan (706-255-3138) to arrange a drop-off.

Textiles: Clean but unusable clothes, shoes, purses, linens, curtains, underwear, socks, leather items, etc.
Got lots of textiles? Contact Leslie (919-638-9417).
Where to bring it:
Put your Styrofoam and textiles in the boxes in the breezeway vestibule from April 23 to May 14. You can even get in the habit of saving Styrofoam and textiles – we’ll hold more recycling drives in the future.
