FOR YOUR PERSONAL DEVOTIONS
Pray Morning and Evening Prayer from the New Zealand Prayer Book with
The Rev. David Guthrie. It is available as a podcast or as individual
sound files to listen to on your computer. Both can be found
here.
Another Audio resource for daily prayer
is Pray As You Go.
Pray as you go was created by Jesuit Media Initiatives in England and is an approximately
10 minute audio meditation including music, scripture reading and prompts
for your own prayer. In general, the format includes: Bells - the call to prayer; opening music, with a few words
of introduction; a scripture for the day; questions for personal
reflection; a
repeat of the scripture reading; and a final reflection; concluding with: Glory be to
the Father... This, too, can be downloaded as a podcast or
listened to on your computer.
Other devotions are available in
written form online:
Pray the Daily
Office from the Book of Common Prayer online. Also available in Spanish.
The Church of England services of Morning Prayer, Evening Prayer and Night Prayer for today, tomorrow and yesterday.
