The Rev. M. Jonah Kendall comes to us from All Saints’ Episcopal Church in Harrison, New York, where he was the rector for four years.  Before that, he served as an assistant to the rector of The Church of the Holy Trinity in New York City for two years after graduating from General Seminary and being ordained in 2001.  An especially meaningful and formative experience for him was working as a seminarian at St. Philip’s, Harlem.

Jonah and his wife, Caty, recently welcomed their first child, Margaret Scout.  An artist and art teacher, Caty grew up in Charlotte and met Jonah while Jonah and Caty’s mother were both students at General Seminary in New York City.   Jonah’s father is an ordained Episcopal priest, as is Caty’s mother.

The Rev. Arianne R. Weeks comes to St. Philip's from the Diocese of New York. In May 2008 she graduated from The General Theological Seminary with her Master of Divinity. For the past two years she served at St. Luke in the Fields in the West Village. She is thrilled to be at St. Philip's where, among other things, she will be involved with the education programs for both youth and adults.
